El Valero Texas Openo Results

That was kind of fun to watch yesterday -- bad weather in the south - don't judge me it wasn't playable here and my Tigers game was over!

At any rate, I'll bet at least 4 of you were paying attention too as you picked The Kevin Chappell Show's 1 in 180 (starts) which kind of sums up the odds of picking a winner in this pool any week. There were a handful of other solid picks as well so we had some major movers in the standings this week.

RBC Heritage Update

A hearty welcome back to Jeff Henry! Jeff's been dealing with some health challenges of late but his first pick in a few weeks (Pimmie was guest picking) was a solo win of Wesley Bryan! I hope that you got to watch some of it to really enjoy it.

Rob and Stephen also netted big paydays from former human ATM Luke Donald's solo 2nd place finish. In another oddity there were 30 people who made $114,045 this week with Dufner, Kisner, Kuchar and Grace all tying for 11th place.

Masters Update...

It only took 74 tries. Nice to see Sergio get off the schneid. The show of sportsmanship between him and Rose was refreshing too. Buried in all this is... Spieth/Fowler choking.

These major purses are getting bigger by the year. No one had Sergio, but the four folks who picked Rose were rewarded handsomely. Each pockets $50 and all move into the top 11. We also have a new pool leader.

Shell Houston Update...

Feast or famine this week. And it nearly came down to those who are already qualified for the Masters taking an MC (Scott, Reed, Kuchar) and those who were not playing well (Stanley, Henley). There were six people who took Henley and the $1.26M winner's check goes a long ways in the standings. With only $25 in the winner's pot we'll roll it over.
