Wells Fargo Update

Major movement in the pool this week. Travis Brown had Brian Harman solo and jumped from the 20's to #6. Matt Saler took DJ solo and moved up 10+ spots. Matt Mead was among several who took Jon Rahm. The six figure pay day moved Mead into the lead. On the other end of the spectrum there were 30 players who took a goose egg so there was a lot of movement in the standings this week.

We are through 19 tournaments with 16 to play including major purses at The Players, another WGC event and of course 3 more majors. I believe this is essentially the mid-way point of the available cash for the pool. A win this week is worth $1.8M+ so anyone north of 38 in the standings would jump into the top 10. Pick wisely my friends.

Zurich

Although nearly all the picks sucked, I really like the format of the Zurich. Amazingly we only had 8 people pick a pair who netted 6 figures. Many of the favorites either missed the cut or netted under $30,000 combined. Not much movement in the standings even though as one wise picker pointed out this purse was the equivalent to a WGC event...

El Valero Texas Openo Results

That was kind of fun to watch yesterday -- bad weather in the south - don't judge me it wasn't playable here and my Tigers game was over!

At any rate, I'll bet at least 4 of you were paying attention too as you picked The Kevin Chappell Show's 1 in 180 (starts) which kind of sums up the odds of picking a winner in this pool any week. There were a handful of other solid picks as well so we had some major movers in the standings this week.

RBC Heritage Update

A hearty welcome back to Jeff Henry! Jeff's been dealing with some health challenges of late but his first pick in a few weeks (Pimmie was guest picking) was a solo win of Wesley Bryan! I hope that you got to watch some of it to really enjoy it.

Rob and Stephen also netted big paydays from former human ATM Luke Donald's solo 2nd place finish. In another oddity there were 30 people who made $114,045 this week with Dufner, Kisner, Kuchar and Grace all tying for 11th place.
