Northern Trust Open

Where to start? Amazing finish to the PGA TOUR event for the fourth week in a row. Greenville's own Bill Haas pulled it out of nowhere - Greg Adams had him solo and moved into 4th place. In our pool only six people missed the cut and they were already all eliminated from the cuts made streak. Really solid picks for those that did make the cut. This will definitely be the week where people start to drop out of the streak - needing two first round wins and a made cut in Mexico to continue on. Here's the updated standings...

Waste Management Open

A nice redemption weekend for Kyle Stanley. The former Clemson star and Gig Harbor, Washington native bounced back from some bad luck at the Farmers to win the Waste Management. Gary Forte the former PGA Challenge champ was solo with the pick and nets $10 and moves into 5th place.

Also of note, only three people making picks, missed the cut this week, each of whom was already out of the cuts made streak so we still have 16 alive in that race for $200.

Humana

A windy weekend in La Quinta, but Mark Wilson pulled it out with a birdie put on the final hole. I missed it as the Baltimore Ravens had my attention on Sunday (only to disappoint). That said, a few more people were trimmed from the MC streak and Andrew Tucker had the pick of the week with the red hot Johnson Wagner finishing second. With no winner picked the pot rolls into the Farmers...

And as a reminder, please send Kyle (kyler@imre.com) your picks this week as Brian is enjoying wine and cheese in France.

Hyundai Tourney of Chumps

I'm off the PGA TOUR payroll so I can be a bit more harsh at times on the TOUR. They've got to do something about this tournament, I'm pretty sure my own club has more TOUR wins and Majors than the entire field this past week. That being said, I'm happy to see Stricker open with a win, maybe he can get the big monkey off his back this year. Nobody picked him so the winner pot rolls over to the Sony...
